A day in the life at Active Paws
Doggie Daycare at Active Paws
0700-0900 – Weekday arrivals at doggie daycare, the fun starts at 9am promptly so don’t be late! All dogs are given the opportunity to toilet upon arrival and throughout the day. If you would like your dog to have breakfast with us, please bring food in a container that is clearly labelled with your dog’s name. Please also write on the container whether it’s breakfast, lunch or tea
0900-1200 – morning exercise sessions provide a variety of options for all dogs based upon their age, size, health and individual needs. We offer on-lead walks in fields and woodland, social play in dog proof paddocks, ball and toy play, agility equipment where appropriate and also the use of field play stations. Of course, don’t forget we also offer cuddles and lots of loving interaction.
1200-1300 – Lunchtime – we feed dogs individually and ensure this is a quiet period to aid digestion
1300-1600 – afternoon exercise session along similar lines to the morning play times
1600-1630 – this is quiet time for the dogs where we give tea to those who have come with it and important jobs are carried out. We do ask that clients do not attempt to collect their dogs early as we are busy with the dogs at this time.
1630-1830 (1800 on Friday) – End of day for doggy daycare handovers and updates, toileting opportunities for all dogs
We send regular photos of dogs enjoying activities each day. Our preferred method of sharing these with you is via WhatsApp, so please download the app and set up an account in you have not done so already.
